Fireside Tavern Short Break Tour of Ireland Killarney, Blarney, Cork Thursday November 4th thru Monday November 8th 2010 Day 1 USA to Ireland: Evening departure from JFK to Shannon, Ireland on your overnight Aer Lingus flight. Dinner is served shortly after take-off. Day 2 Shannon-Killarney: Early morning arrival at Shannon Airport where you are met by your Celtic Tours Irish driver/guide as we clear customs. Leaving Shannon, we travel via the olde world village of Adare, known for its thatched cottages and gentle ruins. Continue via the market towns of Abbeyfeale, Newcastle West and Castleisland to Killarney Town. Remainder of your day free to rest, relax and independently explore. Dinner and overnight in Killarney. Tonight enjoy optional pub entertainment in Killarney. Day 3 Ring of Kerry Tour: “Heaven’s Reflex”, is one of Ireland’s loveliest districts. Poets, painters, writers and musicians have all tried to convey its beauty of mountains and lakes. A delightful day includes a drive along the coastline of the broad Iveragh Peninsula through the villages and towns of Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Irish speaking Sneem. Dinner and overnight in Killarney. Optional pub entertainment tonight. Day 4 Killarney-Blarney: Depart Killarney and travel to Blarney with an optional visit to the famed Blarney Castle to kiss the famous Blarney Stone or shop at the blarney Woollen Mills. Continue on to Cork City where we have some free time before returning to Killarney for dinner and overnight. Optional pub entertainment in Killarney. Day 5 Killarney-Shannon-Return to USA: After a leisurely breakfast, we depart our hotel for Shannon Airport where we have ample time for some last minute duty free shopping before boarding our flight home.
